I stayed for a week at Kasara with my family that includes my daughter who is two. I have been traveling n have to been to a lot of places and stayed in good properties but the staff here was commendable....it was like a home away from home. They were so humbled and always ready to help ...I would like to even mention and thanks few names Mr.Raj the restaurant manager, Mr.Prem.our outer activities guide followed by each n every house keeping mmember followed by Mr.Abhishek who use to serve food to us in our room ....the body therapist Ms.Pavitra and the one at the front desk I am.forgetting his name but was always smiling Oh !! It's such a beautiful and maintained well property followed by very good food and most important healthy food . All the best to the team ~ Lakshmi L
A welcome retreat from the hustle and noise of urban Nepal. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel welcome and valued. The canoe boat trip and jeep safari (as part of our tour) was an interesting and engaging addition to our stay. We saw rhinos, many types of birds and even a glimpse of a tiger! The food is buffet style and delicious, with bottomless cups of tea and coffee and a two for one happy hour on cocktails in the evening. The rooms are detached bungalows set in the cool of the trees and plants with a small antechamber with its own shallow pool separating the bedroom from the open air (but private) bathroom/shower. I would highly recommend Kasara if you want a few days to view the wildlife in Chitwan or relax, eat and take a swim in the inviting pool ~ Yosemite “
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 3-day 2-night stay at the Kasara Resort in Chitwan. We were highly impressed by all of the staff members, most of whom were local to the area! We enjoyed participating in all of the activities- including lounging by the pool while reading from their Himalayan book collection, the jungle safari, the canoeing trip, cultural dance show, and cultural village tour. Babu, our naturalist, was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to make the most of our visit despite rainy monsoon weather! We showed us over a dozen birds and even a rhino! We were also impressed by the helpfulness of Alish, the front desk manager, and our primary waiter in the restaurant, Asish! Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for relaxation and adventure. ~ Samantha B
Hospitality is top notch! Very peaceful. Great for relaxation. Food was really good as well. Each meal was different with lots of varieties. The naturalists’ slideshow was really informative. Absolutely loved the included activities! Boat rides, a short walk to the crocodile breeding center, village walk and jungle safari!! Especially the tea and cookies break in the middle of the jungle was a really good experience. With the amount we paid, it was much more than expected. (Always keep a lookout for the deals they offer). My only complaint, the toilets in the rooms don’t have bidet sprayers (jet sprayers) 😅😅. They are environmentally friendly and is better for our health. Hoping they will install that before I visit again. 😁😁 ~ Flora B
Amazing suit in the nature. Enjoyed the jungle tours very much. A few hours jeep ride in the forest was nice. Saw peacocks, rhinos, deers and many other animals but was not lucky enough to spot a tiger. The elephant ride was fun. The 🐘 elephant's name was Ramkali. At times the ride was some what scary when we crossed swap s with rhinos in it. Saw many deers as well. Elephant ride in the nature is extraordinary. Thanks Ramkali. Jungle walk turned out very exciting as we saw deers and pythons and some mirgrating Siberian birds . Many wild bee hives. Even saw a dead rhino which we reported to the authority. Back to the resort - always delicious food waiting at the buffet with friendly staffs. ~ Banana X
We had an amazing experience here. Settled away from hustle and bustle, I must admit Kasara was a mini paradise. The service was absolutely amazing where everyone from the guides to the drivers were friendly and always looking out for us. The room and overall hotel ambience was very relaxing. Clean rooms, clean pools it was just refreshing. The best part of the trip was the delicious and amazing food served here. The food and variety were very good but the desserts were to die for! Lip-smacking and irresistible to say the least. Kudos to the kitchen team. Moreover we had a friend's birthday during the trip and the team were kind enough not only to provide us with a birthday cake but also gave it to us on the house. Overall it was a well spent 4 days here and would definitely visit again, at least for the desserts!! Thank you for hosting and giving us this experience Team Kasara. ~ Shreejan M
Trato excelente. Volveremos ~ Miguel C
My family had a great time staying at Kasara. The staff here takes excellent care of its guests. Plenty of activities to chose from daily depending on your taste. Food was very delicious -- I especially lived the soups -- tomato was the best and could have eaten a gallon of it! Baby the naturalist really knows his stuff and is a great addition to Kasara. Swimming pool was great although a bit chilly even for Chitwan. Rooms are so clean and relaxing, I could just stay in bed all day. Come here to get away for a bit of luxury, peace, and quiet, but don't miss visiting the local villages by bike. Umbrella Street is nearby and makes for a fun pitstop. ~ Amrit P
This hotel is excellent in both location and hospitality. The staff are all incredible—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was nearly perfect, with the only issue being the water pressure in the shower, which could use improvement. The kitchen staff stood out for their kindness and assistance, especially Hitlar and Rohit, who were exceptionally sweet. However, I would suggest the chef pay more attention to the momo, as the dough was too stiff, and the filling lacked juiciness. That said, the mutton curry was an absolute 10/10! Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the team—they are warm, helpful, and truly caring. Although small mistakes occurred, they weren’t a big deal, and I believe they can improve even further. Their thoughtfulness shone through when they arranged taxi pickups for us and helped with booking transport during a natural disaster. I am genuinely grateful for their outstanding hospitality. Thank you! ~ K L
Kasari resort Such a fantastic resort I struggle to believe its only 3 star. The food is world class (I might not be a food journalist but I eat in a lot of wonderful restaurants, including Michelin stared,so I hope that gives some background to anyone reading!). We’ve had Greek, Mexican, Indian and Bbq - all outstanding and the home made breakfast treats are superb! The service is fantastic, as we have found everywhere in Nepal. Every activity we’ve done has been well organised, with knowledgable guides and good fun. Highly recommend this trip and resort! ~ Jo A
The stay here is perfect for a honeymoon or for couples who are looking to relax and also a dash of adventure. The place offers not only a very comfortable and scenic stays from the very hotel but also provides various other activities like jungle safar, canoeing, cultural dances, cultural village tours etc. The stay provides restaurant for food and accommodates all your other possible asks and needs. They also personalize trips if asked on a special request the friendly staff definitely have the most knowledge about the surroundings and the best places to visit! ~ Isha D
Resort meraviglioso, accoglienza strepitosa e personale molto gentile. Io e i miei amici abbiamo trascorso un ottimo soggiorno in questa struttura molto organizzata, pulita e confortevole. Consiglio di provare l’esperienza del Safari nel parco nazionale. Consigliatissimo!!! ~ Alberto S

Was there in August, with a family of 5, 2 kids( 5 and 11) and 3 adults. We booked a package with rooms, food and safari. It was amazing, I have to say food was the best we had anywere in Nepal. The variety offered every time, was so flavourful, we never got bored. Went to safari, with our amazing tour guide, Madan Chaudhary. He was very patience in answering to all our sons quries and made our tour so much fun.The rooms had all the amenities, and clean. We loved to go to the bar after our safari to enjoy the nature and sip some cocktails. ~ Sabi G
We stayed at Kasara resort from 01 to 03 March 2025. A warm welcome with bright marigold garlands by girls decked up in traditional attire, and men with drums and pipes won our hearts even before we checked in. Rooms are set in cool green areas along tiled path; theyvoffer excellent place for rest and recuperation. The ever smiling staff served us tirelessly throughout our stay. Resort has a restaurant with excellent dining facility led by Chef Thanesor. His associates smilingly provided us even the items not on the day's menu. Guests can soak in the nearby swimming pool , 5.8 feet deep. Areas surroundings the pool is excellent for organising lunch and cultural evenings. The bush, a rectangular arena, is another place suitable for cultural events, wining and dining. It was in 'the bush' where the Tharu girls presented excellent folk dances during our dinner on 02 March. Boating in Rapti River followed by refreshment on the riverbank and a Jungle Safari in the nearby forest were another major attractions. Over all grading 4.5. ~ Kirti N
Kasara Resort in Chitwan is perfect for anyone who wants to get close to nature without sacrificing comfort. We went on a walking safari and saw wild boars, peacocks, and even crocodiles. The naturalist was super knowledgeable and made the experience even more engaging. The resort’s design is low-key but elegant, and the service was top-notch. Food options were well thought out, with a mix of local and Western. I'd happily return with my kids next time. ~ Himal K
A very nice place. A bit far away from the city centre but if you are looking for a vacation to stay within the resort and relax, i definitely recommend it. The pool is not that big but it is just right for a relaxing vacation. Food is great. Especially i enjoyed the dinners with lots of options and great taste. Staff are very friendly and make your stay as comfortable as possible. 3 nights stay is good enough to experience the hospitality but you can stay longer as well. ~ r S
We were highly impressed by all of the staff members, most of whom were local to the area! We enjoyed participating in all of the activities- including lounging by the pool while reading from their Himalayan book collection, the jungle safari, the canoeing trip, cultural dance show, and cultural village tour. Food was awesome. They did bring in a new consultant to help the kitchen, but honestly the meals he had helped with weren’t as good so I hope that doesn’t impact it in the future. The room layouts are odd and you need to leave the room to get to the bathroom, which is open air. We had a lot of larger insects in the bathroom as a result. We did the full package and enjoyed the jungle cruise, but my favorite part was doing a bike ride in the rural area. ~ David M
Beautiful resort, with multiple activities available such as jungle safari etc see website for more details. Spa on site with number of treatments available, restaurant on site providing breakfast lunch dinner and snacks by the pool. Resort is tucked away from crowds and is a great place to relax in greenery but still have that feel of luxury! Rooms are spacious with multiple amenities available good shower pressure comfortable beds and beautiful water feature in the bungalows. ~ A. E
We chose Kasara for a family holiday and couldn’t be happier. It’s not easy to find a resort that works for both kids and adults, but this one nailed it. The cultural show, nature activities, and open green spaces kept our little ones busy, while we enjoyed the spa and peaceful surroundings. Their attention to sustainability also impressed me. Easily the best family-friendly resort in Chitwan if you want a mix of fun, comfort, and nature. ~ Dikshyant C
The entire resort feels like a hidden oasis. Kasara isn’t loud or flashy—it’s refined and peaceful. The rooms are spacious and airy, and I loved that there were no TVs. Instead, I spent my time reading by the pool, walking along the jungle trails, and drinking coffee by the pond. Chitwan National Park is just a short drive away, and the wildlife experience was incredible. This place is perfect for couples and solo travelers looking to reset. ~ Purnika K
We visited Kasara for a romantic getaway and absolutely loved every part of it. The villa was stunning with an outdoor bath and private plunge pool. Everything felt luxurious without being over the top. The highlight was our canoe ride on the Rapti River at sunset—so calm and surreal. I’ve stayed at a few jungle resorts in Nepal, but this one had the best balance of nature, comfort, and genuine hospitality. ~ rubisha
